February Wrap Up! | Not What I Expected

Hello again honeybees! Can you believe it’s already the end of the month? Time flies when you’re in a book world, let me tell you. I’m all about setting goals and these wrap ups are what hold me accountable and give me time to reflect on the month. They’re also my favorite to read, so if you’ve posted one let me know and I’ll check it out!

But back to me  just kidding, but we do need to get back to the task at hand. In my TBR and Goals post I said I wanted to read 7 books and had 9 on my TBR so let’s see how I did.

Books Read

Voyage of the Dawn Treader by C.S. Lewis – 3/5 stars

The Beast’s Heart by Leife Shallcross – 5 stars

Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen (review here) – 2/3 stars

Lord of the Butterflies by Andrea Gibson – 5 stars

Running With The Wolves by J.E. Reed – 4/5 stars

I Am Write by Benet Stoen – 4 stars

Total: 6 books

(had to edit this because I can’t count)

February Favorites

I thought I’d have a space to share my favorites from this month with you all! Just a list, nothing fancy, but I’d like to highlight some good parts of the month.
  • Beauty and the Beast (due largely in part to The Beast’s Heart which I loved)
  • Polaroid pictures
  • Flowers
  • Sweaters and sweatshirts!
  • Fantasy
  • Independently published books!
  • Waking up early
  • Myself (self love is the best love)

(I know it’s a recent post from my Instagram but I’m posting it here because I like it.)

Overall

February was much better than January. Towards the end of the month I got out of my funk and actually got stuff done! Super happy about that! I didn’t accomplish the majority of my goals, having only written around 4,000 words this month and less than I was hoping, but we’re taking baby steps to success.

How was your month? How many books did you read, and which one was your favorite? What did you get accomplished in February, besides eating a bunch of Valentines candy? Tell me everything in the comments!

Bye for now honeybees.

I read 11 books this month! I haven’t read less than, like, 15 books in a month since maybe Sept, but I’m still pretty proud of myself 🙂
