Hey honeybees! I saw this cool little tag for the end of the year, and I might be a little behind on it but I thought I would do it anyway. Better late than never. I couldn’t find the originator of the tag, I think it’s a bit of an older, classic tag.

Are there any books you started this year that you need to finish?
So many! I’m a DNF legend at this point. The only book that I’m going to attempt to finish is probably going to be A Discovery of Witches, because I’m more than halfway through that beast.
Do you have an autumnal book to transition into the end of the year?
It’s a little late now but I think Legends and Lattes was a good candidate for this! Definitely gave off autumnal vibes. The first holiday book I’m reading is The Christmas Spirit by Debbie Macomber, which has all of her trademark Hallmark vibes but a little more flare than usual. I’m excited to see something a bit different from this author.
Is there a new release you’re still waiting for?
Not this year, but I’m really excited to have time to dig into Ship Wrecked by Olivia Dade. It released the day after my birthday and I feel like life only gets faster once that time of year hits, so I’m waiting for a better time to open up my most anticipated release of the year.
What are three books you want to read before the end of the year?
I have a lot more than three, which as you can read about in my December TBR but here’s the main priorities:
VAMPS: Fresh Blood by Nicole Arned

Kiss Her Once For Me by Allison Cochran

A Merry Little Meet Cute by Julie Murphy and Sierra Simone

Is there a book you think could still shock you and become your favorite book of the year?
I don’t think it’ll be the favorite of the year but I’m currently reading VAMPS and omg it’s so good!!! I was not expecting all that’s in this book (pan vampires!!!!!) and I’m going to have to rethink my top ten reads if this book continues to keep getting better.
Have you already started making reading plans for 2023?
I am not that put together lol. There’s a few recently acquired books that I’ve pushed to my 2023 TBR, but I don’t have any concrete plans yet. My reading challenge was 22 books this year and it worked out really well for me so I think 23 books (I’m sure you can guess why) will be a good goal as well. I’ve gotten approached about a few ARCs but I think I’m going to be even more selective about my ARC reviews next year so I can ensure I’m reading what I want to read and enjoying the process more.

That’s all for this tag! It was a cute little tag and I hope you enjoyed it just as much as I did. Let me know if we have any answers in common or what your answers are for any of these questions!
