Books I’d Love To Receive As Gifts!

Hello again honeybees! I just finished my last final for uni about twenty minutes ago (as of writing this) and I’m so excited to be back to blogging. In the future I’m going to utilize blogging schedules and scheduling posts so I don’t have to disappear for the entire quarter.

I got this blog post idea from Mirkwood Books who posted their Book Wishlist on their blog a few weeks ago. I thought it would be such a fun idea to do, even though I never receive books as gifts and I didn’t really ask for anything this year.

These Violent Delights by Chloe Gong

Ohh I’m so excited for this one! I eat up anything in the 20s and I’ve heard such amazing things about it. Honestly, it wasn’t really on my radar until it was published and all of my friends were falling in love with this book. I have to read it in 2021!

Monet: Or the Triumph of Impressionism by Daniel Wildenstein

I’ve been wanting this particular Monet book for YEARS. Because it’s an art book, it is quite pricey, and I know one day I’ll buy it and finally get to flip through the pages, then keep it forever on my coffee table.

The Pretty One: On Life, Pop Culture, Disability, and Other Reasons to Fall in Love With Me by Keah Brown

Disability rep is huge for me, and I’ve been loving nonfiction recently. This has been on a few disability rep recommendations lists and I’ve had it on my TBR for a few months. I really hope I get to read it soon.

Nocturna by Maya Motayne

Another book that has been on my TBR for ages but that I don’t even own. I definitely see myself buying this one in early 2021, as I need more Latinx fantasy in my life and I’ve heard great things about this one. Ever since I heard the author speak at Yallwest, I’ve been dying to get my hands on this bad boy. But now the sequel’s out and I still haven’t done it!

From Blood and Ash by Jennifer L. Armentrout

The way I am trash for JLA is just ugh. I need to finish the Lux series and then I am going to be all over her other work (which, thankfully, there is a lot of). I thought about starting with the older stuff first and then working my way up into the present but I want to be hyped with everyone else about the upcoming release in the series.

I’m going to stop it at five but you know us bookworms, our TBRs are incredibly long.

What’s on your bookish wishlist? Are there any books on this list that you’ve read or want to read?

Thank you for reading! I hope you enjoyed this post. Please consider following for more posts like this! You can also find me on Instagram, Twitter, and Goodreads, buy me a cup of coffee on ko-fi. Thanks again for reading! Bye for now honeybees.
