December TBR + Goals | Day One of Blogmas 2019!

Hello honeybees and welcome December! If you couldn’t tell by the title, I’m doing Blogmas again! It’s been a bit of a spontaneous decision since as I’m writing this *cough* on November 30th *cough* I just submitted my college apps a few days ago. But I really want to try to surpass last year’s record of 10 days.

To Be Read

My goal for this month is four books read. That’s the low goal, but ideally I want to read 8–10.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J.K. Rowling

I started this in October and only got to chapter two. My reread this year is not going as planned but I hope to finish this one at least. If I’m feeling ambitious then I’ll try to finish the series.

Christmas Letters by Debbie Macomber

I’m actually feeling the holiday spirit this year and I’m so freaking happy about it! While I was researching Christmas books, I came across this one that looks right up my alley and I can’t wait to read it.

A Touch of Death by Rebecca Cruden

I have a review copy of this one that I need to finish. Funnily enough except not funny at all I seem to have misplaced my Kindle, so we’ll see how much I actually read on my phone until I find it.

The Crowns of Croswald by D.E. Night (finish)

My review for this is overdue and I’m sad about it. I’m hoping to get this one done as soon as possible and crank out a review just as fast.

Goals

• Make it past ten days of Blogmas. I’m incredibly busy this year, and December will be no exception. However, I would love to beat my Blogmas record from last year.
• Meet my reading goal. I set my goal at 90 in January but quickly lowered it to 50 as I saw just how busy I would be. As of December 1st, I’m at 46/50 and very close to accomplishing this goal.
• Post more on Instagram. My posting on there has been just as sporadic as my posting on here. I’m determined to post a bit more though, since I really do enjoy it.
