Hello again honeybees! I took a bit of a break from blogging to get my life together (spoiler alert: I failed) and now I’m back with a TBR for this weekend’s 24in48 readathon.
If you’re unfamiliar with this biannual readathon, the basics are that participants try to read for 24 hours over the course of two days (48 hours.) This can be broken up in any way, 12 hours both days, 8 hours one day and 16 hours the next, whatever works for your schedule! The days chosen are this Saturday (1/26) and Sunday (1/27)
My TBR
- Siege and Storm by Leigh Bardugo
- Ruin and Rising by Leigh Bardugo
- Language of Thorns by Leigh Bardugo
- Running With the Wolves by J.E. Reed
See a trend? Yeah, so I’m one of the last people to read the Grisha trilogy and King of Scars comes out on Tuesday so I’m slightly panicking. I haven’t preordered my copy so I shouldn’t even be that stressed but I’m getting serious FOMO lately with all these sequel releases.
I’m very nearly done with Shadow and Bone so once that’s done I’ll just jump right in to Siege and Storm. I’m *so* excited to meet Nikolai!
I hate to be a pessimist but I’m 90% sure I won’t be able to read for 24 hours. I’m going to try though because I haven’t finished anything in a while.
Burning Questions
Will you be participating in 24in48? If so, what’s on your TBR? If not, have you ever participated in a readathon? Tell me everything in the comments!Bye for now honeybees.
Love, Destiny
I’m participating and I also have Siege and Storm on my TBR! I pre-ordered King of Scars today so hopefully I finish the Grisha trilogy by Tuesday 🤞🏽

Ooh, wish I’d heard about this before! Although I’m not sure I could manage more than a few hours – goodness knows my TBR mountain could do with the attempt!
The Grisha trilogy are on my list, too, after I read and loved Six of Crows 🙂 Hope the weekend went well for you!
