Fall Reading Wrap Up 2018 | Blogmas Day 1

Hola honeybees! It’s that time again; the weather is cooling down, the holiday spirit is going around, and I officially refuse to wear anything other than my sweaters.

Now that fall, my favorite season, is coming to a close, I must face the reality of my situation: I did not read as much as I had hoped I would at this time of the year. But life happens, what can you do? Next time I do a wrap up, it will be 2019, so here are the books I’ve read over the past few months and how far I am from reaching my Goodreads goal.

• Geekerella by Ashley Poston ; 4.5/5 stars

Can you tell I was in a slump? Oof. But this was so cute and easy to read. I couldn’t have picked a better book to read while in a slump.

October

• Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia and  ; 4/5 stars
• Sheets by Brenna Thummler ; 5/5 stars
• The Dark Descent of Elizabeth Frankenstein by Kiersten White ; 4.7/5 stars

Ah, this is better. I was still in a weird slump and couldn’t read a physical book. Sheets was a comic book I borrowed online from the library, the rest were audiobooks. My favorite of the month was most Sheets. My least favorite was Beautiful Creatures, though I still enjoyed it.

November

As you can see, November was a month and possibly the only good to come out of it was my reading. But damn! Is your wig snatched yet? I’m probably way too happy over my reading for November but it was the best I had done in a while and I am so. fricking. proud of myself. And that’s the tea.

Goodreads Goal Update

Despite the steady progress that I’ve made, I still have ten books to read in November. In the year 2018, I have yet to read over 10 books in a single month and I’m slightly terrified that I won’t reach my goal this year. I’m at 61/70 and I’m hoping I can complete my challenge this year, which didn’t even seem that ambitious when I set it in January.
